Photobooth

This here is part of small project from my uni course. The idea was to style yourself in a new indentity and then photograph yourself in a photobooth which gives you limited to chance to get the shot. I chose to come up with a bit of a quirky look  which I quite like, so here it is.....!

Vintage

Since I've been in Liverpool I've visited a couple of the vintage fairs which have some amazing stuff! I literally spent hours walking round trying to pick out pieces that I liked, but there was just too many to pick from! So in the end I just came back with these three bad boys!

Bag- £8.00
Chain- £6.00
Scarf- £12.00

mmmm magazines.

If I didn't have these, I don't know what I'd do. I have them for both pleasure and purpose! I'm constantly looking for new images and ideas for my course and these are my little saviours! n'awwww.

Liverpool.

The view from my new home, Liverpool. Considering I'm in student accomodation I have a pretty good view- one that quite alot of people pay alot of money for. Amongst those lights in the photograph, there's the famous Liver building and numerous tower buildings. I had to capture it at it's best!

She's lost control again.

Broken Doll.

Deterioration.

These images here are from my final major project where I explored the idea of how the way you look and are percieved, can be effected by your behaviour and actions such as getting drunk. This sequence shows how alchohol can deteriorate your looks and strip away the glamour.

Gone off the rails.

Fuck you.

Self Perception.

Pure Filth.

The photograph here is from one of my earliest briefs during my art course. The idea was to promote an apron in a fashionable, stylist way. My idea was to promote it in a way that contrasted with the original idea of an apron being pristine and clean and only to be worn within a kitchen. Therefore I decided to choose a grimey outdoor location and create grungey, dirty styling to go alongside it. This is one of my favourite images from the shoot as I feel it looks the most polished considering this was the first time I'd used a proffesional SLR camera!
